For teachers

Open it. Teach it. No ten questions, no awkward silence.

Full, ready-to-teach lessons for adults and older teens, built around ideas worth arguing about, not another worksheet about tourism.

Four ways to fill a lesson

Pick what today's lesson needs

Big Talks

For a complete lesson, from the opening question to the homework.

60 to 90 minutes

Quick Talks

For a warm up, a cool down, or a short activity that fills a gap in a coursebook lesson.

10 to 20 minutes

Language Boosts

For practising one piece of language on its own, vocabulary, grammar or a functional phrase.

A short, focused block you can drop into any part of a lesson.

Speaking Challenges

For a lesson that needs more talking, a debate, a ranking, a dilemma or a decision to make.

As long as the speaking task itself takes, usually part of a longer lesson.

Inside the file

What you actually get

Every lesson comes as two print ready PDFs, one for the student, one for the teacher, plus a matching interactive version once the platform is live. Length depends on the family, from a short handout for a Quick Talk to a full multi page pack for a Big Talk.

The student version

The input, the vocabulary, the exercises and the speaking tasks, laid out for the student to work through directly, with no answers printed on the page.

The teacher version

The same lesson plus notes for every stage, timing for each section and a full answer key, so you can see at a glance what to say and when to move on.
